Master of Fine Arts

This program immerses students in the craft and aesthetic of motion picture production. Students interested in the M.F.A. program in Digital Cinema must first enroll in the Master of Science program in Digital Cinema and then petition for admittance to the M.F.A. program after one year.

In the M.S. program students acquire fundamental skill in digital technology production. The M.F.A. program then continues this course of study for one year plus a thesis project, emphasizing an artistic exploration of the technical skills acquired in the M.S. program, and allowing students to specialize in their studies.
